Whether you're here for business or leisure, travelling to and from Friars Court couldn't be more convenient.
Neighborhood
The Park Estate in Nottingham is a truly unique neighbourhood—steeped in history and renowned for its peace, beauty, and community feel. Just minutes from the city centre, it began as a royal deer park for Nottingham Castle and today remains a private residential area, spread across 150 acres of elegant, tree-lined avenues. Founded in the early 19th century and designed mainly by prominent architect Thomas Chambers Hine, the estate is famous for its splendid Victorian and Edwardian architecture, with many listed buildings. Its gardens and green spaces are beautifully maintained, offering residents an oasis of calm in the heart of the city. The area is gated, with limited vehicle access for security and privacy, and features original gas street lighting which gives it a distinctive character, especially at night. Park Estate is also known for a strong sense of community, a vibrant residents' association, and regular local events. Shops, cafés, and all city amenities are within easy reach, but within the estate, life feels set apart from the bustle—quiet, walkable, and welcoming. It's little wonder the Park remains one of Nottingham's most desirable addresses.
